Set the mood
- Choose an understated glam palette with one metallic.
- Layer textured linens like crumpled linen or velvet runners.
- Use matte black or stoneware plates under gold flatware.
Light and centrepieces
- Cluster tall taper candles in brass holders.
- Use low white florals so guests can talk.
- Add sculptural objects instead of bulky arrangements.
Finishing touches
- Serve in champagne coupes for a vintage feel.
- Scatter a little confetti only in the centre.
- Add personalised place cards or a midnight wish card.
- Tie napkins with ribbon and a sprig of greenery.
